Hotel Boss

Everything was as expected. Nothing special and nothing problematic. A huge multi room hotel which does what it sets out to do.

We really liked the location of the hotel – it's close to major roads and well-connected to the city. Although we mostly used taxis, public transport was also easily accessible. The hotel was very clean and well-maintained. We were given a lovely room with a balcony and a great city view. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which was a big plus. There are several convenient shops on the ground floor of the hotel, ideal for picking up essentials or a quick snack. We didn’t use the hotel restaurant, so we can't comment on that service. The only downside, which was beyond the hotel's control, was the behavior of a group of guests from India who kept their room doors open, walked around the hallway in their underwear, shouted between rooms, and generally disturbed the peace. After we addressed them a couple of times and mentioned we would call hotel management, they finally settled down. Despite this unpleasant incident, we had a positive stay overall.

The room was small but more than enough for a single traveler! It was clean, and housekeeping person did a great job maintaining it on a daily basis. Location was very convenient, as BLK461 / OP.BLK461 bus halts are right opposite the hotel and Lavender MRT is just a couple of minutes walk away. There are plenty of affordable (and up market) eating places nearby, and Mustafa Center is just 10 minutes walk away.

Check in was easy and quick. The hotel is in a great location in the city close to food stalls, tourist attractions and Lavender Station. We were on the top level and had a beautiful window view of the city. I use to be a cleaner and the room was very clean, especially the bathroom (toilet had blue cleaner liquid, nice touch). The bed is on the firmer side but still a comfortable sleep!
